Decent hostel

Very friendly and helpful host. Wide bed allowing you to store some of your things (e.g. a small backpack) at the foot of your bed overnight to have it within reach during the night/in the morning. Thick curtains for privacy, keeping out (most of) the light. Close to the subway (only a few minutes walk), and even within walking distance of the CBD (about 20 minutes).

The locker beneath the bed is not very high. If your luggage is too large to fit, there is not much room to store it without it getting into other people's way.

Friendly staff and great location in Chinatown, close to some of the best places to eat. Also the bed because the curtain really provided a sense of intimacy

Nice hostel, great Location.

Everything was good. Helpful staff, clean rooms, washroom. The location was perfect, just a walking distance from the MRT station.

With the luggage, u have to climb some stairs. My dorm was on the second floor. The breakfast was very basic a few steps walk to the neighbour hostel. But it was all manageable.

Pleasant stay, great location, very safe.

The people who worked at reception were really nice and helpful. Even though there is no common room in this building, they are working with the hostel across the street and we could use their common room (this is also the place for breakfast). In my opinion, using the other common room was even better in order to meet even more people, especially as a solo traveler. The room was very dark, but it’s a good thing for privacy. It had good wifi and a screen in each capsule. Great location, so many other hostels around there and it’s a 2-3 minute walk to the metro station. They also plan sightseeing tours at reception and it is a great way to see parts of the city with other solo travelers. I would recommend it for solo female travelers as well.

The space underneath where you store your things would not fit a large size luggage, if you bring a small one you will be fine though. Plus, the bathrooms were not in such a good condition, they were a bit dirty in general.

Good stay for price paid

I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to someone travelling on a budget and wanting their own space in the dormitory. Staff were very friendly and went extra mile. Rooms were nice and the beds very much gave you private space with a curtain that completely closed it off. Lockers under beds worked well and have their own electronic locking system so don’t need your own padlock. Really appreciated that the staff let me use the shower after checking out when I came to collect my bag in the evening. Was very much needed due to Singapore’s heat!

The toilets are all in the same cubicle as a shower which wasn’t the most ideal as it meant the toilet ends up wet. The breakfast provided is quite basic.

Great accommodation with the perfect location to explore Singapore

The location was perfect to even walk to many attractions and the staff was very helpful. Even though you share the room with others you barely notice it once you are inside your pod. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was also nice. It is also possible to fit most of your belongings in your locker.

Sometimes you had to wait if you want to use the bathroom because you share it with all of your roommates.

Excellent hostel, highly recommend

I stayed in a four person capsule room for three nights and had a great experience! Maybe I lucked out but my roommates were very quiet and respectful, so I had no issues sleeping. The capsule was a wide twin, so there was space to put a few of my things. TV in the capsule was also clutch. Staff were helpful and attentive. Never had to wait for a shower. Breakfast was at the Bohemian, another hostel down the street - and it was great to be able to connect and mingle with other solo travelers! Location is superb - centrally located near two amazing temples, the Maxwell hawker centre, and Chinatown street market.

As others have mentioned, toilets and showers are in the same stall - so, the toilets are always wet. Not the greatest, but could be worse. The blanket provided is nice and soft, but a little small. When I pulled it all the way up to my neck, my feet stuck out a bit lol.

Comfy hostel in Chinatown where you can socialize but also rest in a quiet environment.

Amazing staff, good location in Chinatown, comfy stay overall.

Only minus is that the showers are in the same small stalls as the toilets. Therefore the toilet seats are always wet and toilets are really humid.

Location is very good, walking distance to Chinatown MRT

It is centrally located, right in the centre of Chinatown; MRT and bus stop are just a few steps away. Kudos to Claire and the other staff for accomodating all my request. They went above and beyond, i will return here again and recommend to anyone looking for a budget place to stay in Singapore.

Superb

I really appreciated the privacy of the capsule and the possibility to use both the female bathroom and the general one, which is super comfortable since the rooms host around 10-12 people. The location is perfect!

There is no common space to make friends at all, which is not super nice when you are travelling solo. Moreover the rooms are always super dark, which can be annoying sometimes.
